I've been away from the game for awhile, so while I've unlocked all of S4, I havn't done any of it. I'm looking for a good goal to get me going in the game again, but a little cloudy on how big of one the skyscale is, and if its worth the work, if you have the other mounts. Thanks for your help. i just finished crafting skyscale few weeks ago. the tips is dont rush.rent a skyscale on ep6 try it. before you plan to craft. skyscale is handy but is not a all in one mount. it fly slow. and you always need to find landing ground to boost.if you decide to craft. firstly buy all 1~6 LS4 ep. u will need it for future collection. then get raptor, springer, jackal to lvl3. Skyscale is by far the most versatile mount in the game and is a straight upgrade to the springer. It is worth being locked behind so much because of how much better it is compared to all other mounts. Once you get the skyscale, other mount become niche situations, with springer and jackel being the worse offender. Posted July 2, 2023. The various articles about SotO mention that there will be bonuses for people who did both skyscale collections, so it sounds like they're planning to keep them both available. Also since Season 1 ended they've been pretty good about not removing older stuff in general. kaidthc. • 3 yr. ago. My top 3 in order is: 1- stargaze 2- dark monarch 3- shimmering. 3. Lovaa. • 3 yr. ago. Shimmerwing because it is the only one that have a nice looking head. I never liked the head of the Skyscale but that skin saved it for me. 4. pnTuP. The bit about needing all episodes in Season 4 isn't really an instruction on how to unlock the mount, it's a warning they put in so people who don't have them all and aren't willing to buy them can skip the entire process instead of getting part of the way through (potentially all the way up to the last step, depending on which episodes they I haven't used it on the skyscale yet, but there's been many times I've been trying to get somewhere on the griffon and wished I could get just a bit higher. It's definitely a more niche mount than the griffon, but to me that seems appropriate for a living world mount, compared to one released as part of PoF. Guys, you’re missing the fact that there is a new skyscale mastery track with the new expac. If you completed one skyscale mastery track via season 4 of POF, then in SOTO you unlock and complete the masteries there for extra bonus effects. It entices people to do both methods. Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure offers an updated path to unlocking your skyscale mount. You’ll use the skyscale and new Masteries to explore epic aerial maps. At launch, two new explorable zones will take you to the skies over Tyria; a new map will become available as the story progresses in future releases. In addition these limitations are now applied SOTO now, rather than the Default SOTO settings. (Meaning I LOST mount Access.) So now the only way I can get on a Skyscale, in both Base and SOTO is to use the 3 minute leap and mount (J) skill, or walk into a Skyscale launching point. It's making navigating SOTO quite Difficult.
