381 posts 路 Joined 2003. #1 路 Oct 5, 2010. ok here is the background on my problem: 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L Engine, Auto Trans, No automatic temp control. I was driving and I had my A/C on, all the sudden I heard a strange sound coming from the heater vents and my blower motor stopped working and my turn signals died. 1999 Grand Cherokee. Left turn signal does not work at all. All of the 4 ways work except the left rear. I have replaced the left rear bulbs and replaced the entire tail light assembly. Still no good. I checked the voltage at the connector that goes into the tail light assembly-no voltage. I can't find a detailed wiring diagram on the web. If power is not getting to the turn signal pin, then a fuse may be blown or it is missing. If either of these is the case, then replace the missing or broken fuse. If power is getting to the trailer turn signal pin, then the issue could be a loose ground wire. Don鈥檛 replace the whole light if this is the problem. At first, everything seemed to work fine, the turn signals worked and the hazards worked etc. But, then I went to turn right and my right signal stuck on and would not turn off. Previously, I was able to get the right signal to shut off by flipping the left signal on quickly or turning on the hazards momentarily. feralkid. sometimes my turn signal flashes fast or just stays on without blinking. i think something is loose with the hazard switch because it's works properly when i jiggle it. As suggested, replace the flasher relay. If the problem is not fixed, consider replacing the multi-function turn signal switch. B7X6DW2. The next thing is to make sure the wires on the trailer plug is wired properly to the trailer. If you have a 4-Way connector on the trailer the white wire is for ground, the green wire for right turn and brake, yellow wire for left turn and brake, and the brown wire is for running lights. This part sits around the steering shaft and will require removal of the steering wheel/air bag. This happened on my Dad's vehicle. D. J. That usually means the front fixtures aren't grounded. Stock there is a tab on one side of the fixture that needs a special shoulder screw to clamp it to the grill for the signal ground. The signals can use the running light ground until you turn on the running lights.
